Regulators: A key reference list

The UK Regulators Network is a member group where regulators join together to share knowledge and innovation, explore cross-cutting issues and build better ways of working for the benefit of consumers and the economy. The thirteen members are:

The Department of Business, Innovation and Skills defined the following list of regulators covered by the Regulators Code in 2014.

  • Specified regulatory functions exercised by local authorities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
  • All regulatory functions exercised by fire and rescue authorities in England and Wales.
  • Homes and Communities Agency regulatory functions relevant to the Housing and Regeneration Act.
  • Regulatory functions designated by Secretary of State relevant to the Companies Act.
  • All regulatory functions relevant to Money Laundering Regulations exercised by the professional bodies listed below:
