The Internal Audit Ambition Model is a beta web-based platform that enables audit leaders to assess the effectiveness of their internal audit function and identify areas for improvement.  Developed by Chief Audit Executives, working with the IIA Netherlands, the Ambition Model aligns with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).

By using the Model to assess your team, you will be able to gain clarity as to where you currently are in relation to conformance with the IPPF and where you want to be - that is...your ambition.

Using the model and completing the on-line assessment for your team will also be contributing to a database of data that you can access so that you can benchmark your team against others - by organisation type, team size and sector.

In the UK and Ireland, the Model is being made available exclusively to members of the Chartered IIA's Audit Leaders Service, as a pilot initiative.
