ESG and Integrated Reporting: Internal Audit's role

Broadway House, Tothill Street, London
5 December 2024, 08:30 - 11:00

ESG has become more and more significant to organisations and society. With the advent of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) from the European Commission, the requirements for large and listed companies are being enshrined in regulation. While this has the aim of helping investors and stakeholders assess the sustainability and impact of organisations, it also aims to reduce reporting costs.

During this roundtable session, we’ll explore how building an integrated control environment can help to make the integrated reporting process easier. It will consider internal audit's role in advising on the control environment development and providing assurance on the integrated reporting process to ensure that it meets not only the requirements of CSRD, but also the needs of investors and stakeholders.
